Shop at Home in the Forney, TX Area

Schindler Carpet & Floors provides a shop at home service that allows you to shop for flooring in your own home when it’s convenient for you. Not only does shop at home save you time, it is an opportunity for your consultant to see the space and discuss your ideas for the project. We bring samples to your door so that you can see them next to your furniture, walls, and lighting. Our in-home specialist will help you choose products to achieve the look you want at a price to fit your budget.

1. Schedule your shop at home appointment

Find a day that is convenient for you and request a free in home estimate. You can request your appointment by calling us or filling out the form below.

In order to give our consultant guidance about what samples fit your needs, the two of you will have an in-depth telephone consultation. Not only does this steer your consultant in the right direction, it helps you focus on your desires and functional needs for the new flooring.

After the phone consult, your flooring consultant will gather several samples to bring out to you. If you can take some digital photos of the area being floored and text or email them, we will be able to curate your selections better.


2. On shop at home day

Your flooring consultant will arrive at your home on time, with an abundance of samples and ideas. Once you have met each other, you will go over where you want the flooring, and pointing out any problems with your present floor.

While you browse through the samples, the consultant will measure your space to get an idea of the square footage needed. If you find some flooring that you like, you can keep the samples to see how they look at different times of the day … and don’t forget to have your family weigh in on the selection.

3. After your shop at home appointment

If you didn’t find a sample that suited you, your consultant will have a better idea of your preferences and bring further samples another day. When you have made your choice, your consultant will draw up an estimate of flooring costs and labor. Once you arrive at a flooring product that fits your needs and budget, we will schedule an installation date for your beautiful new floor. You will have accomplished all this from the comfort of your shop at home consultation.
